Good morning Fordham SportsNet readers. I wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on with this website and with me. As you can tell, not much has been posted here since basketball season ended and Fordham named Tom Pecora its new head men’s basketball coach.

I hope you appreciate how much time goes into maintaining a site like this. Fordham SportsNet will always be something I’m very proud of. This website has led to many opportunities for me, such as writing for College Chalktalk and the Connecticut Post. It has also become a well-read and respected site.

At this time, I have decided to dedicate my time and effort to two new and exciting writing opportunities. First, I have a blog for the Stamford Advocate and Greenwich Time called Teacher Talk, devoted to providing news and commentary on education in Fairfield County. I also recently joined the staff of SNY’s Giants Football Blog, and will be writing news and commentary pieces on the football Giants. I’m honored to be writing for such respected websites and companies.

I’m also a full-time high school English Teacher and an assistant high school baseball coach. My schedule is very full. I love Fordham SportsNet, and will keep you informed as time goes on.
