I sat down with Tom Masella this past week to talk Fordham football. In a story that will run next week on Fordham SportsNet, Fordham’s head football coach talks about the university’s recent decision to award football scholarships – what it means for the school and program, the relationship between Fordham and the Patriot League, scheduling, facilities at Rose Hill, and the administration’s role in the success of Fordham football. Masella also gives his thoughts on the upcoming season and spends some time reflecting on last year as well. One of the many treats to come my way since I started Fordham SportsNet has been the opportunity to host “The Press Box,” the daily sports talk radio show on the Lifestyle TalkRadio Network. I’ve joined the show’s host, Rob Adams, on numerous occasions as a co-host, and today I’ll begin my stint as guest host as Rob is taking some well-deserved time off.

Fordham SportsNet Exclusive: Frank McLaughlin

I sat down with Frank McLaughlin this past Thursday to discuss Fordham basketball. As we talked in his office for a good hour, McLaughlin was open and honest in sharing his thoughts on the program. Over the course of the next week, Fordham SportsNet will run a five-part series detailing the AD’s take on the state of the program. Here’s the lineup of articles:
